Gone are the indecent tweets that crawl under your skin, and the lies spreading faster than Twitter can publish them. And gone also are the sounds the boots of the National Guard generated as they protected our institutions from an enemy within. Instead, we have this calm after the storm. Mostly from a soothing Trump silence emanating from Mar-a-Lago where the FORMER President is residing. Mostly because Twitter revoked his right to spread lies.
No, you are not dreaming. Donald Trump is living in shame, and plotting, without a doubt, his 2024 comeback with his Republican Senators, all of whom have already tossed the treasonous act of Insurrection aside. To the horror of a nation, Trump’s enablers don’t think much of Trump’s coup of January 6. They all want to normalize that Insurrection because this author believes they are planning to repeat it in the future.
This country is far from becoming safe. The White Supremacists and the racists are slowly losing their grip over control of the U.S. Government, and they will not stop until they secure a permanent power grab.
Trump, singlehandedly, not only became the American leader of the White Supremacists, but also their telegraphic Goebbels disseminating distortion and deceit.
THE TRUMP NOISE IS NO LONGER
Since January 20, President Joe Biden has been busy making noise. The good noise every American has been looking forward to. The kind that tackles the deadly COVID, and the kind that reverses Trump’s racist policies. Then there is the noise of charting the future of our economy to be more inclusive to the American people, and less so to all the billionaires who sucked it dry over the past 50 years.
The Trump noise is no longer.
Who among us wanted to drink their morning coffee while they read about Trump attacking one official or the other? Thus, trampling the dignity of the Office. Who among us wanted to be interrupted at work by a panicking parent trying to figure out the schooling COVID options? The ones Secretary DeVos neglected to establish by marshaling the necessary U.S. Government resources to provide some sensible solutions. Who among us needed to hear more lies by the minute to upset our common sense and cloud our judgment? This soothing Trump silence emanating from Mar-a-Lago Florida is a blessing like no other.
De-platforming Trump off Twitter had such a positive impact on the people of this country. For one, there has been a 73% drop of misinformation. Imagine that. Just imagine the harm Trump was causing the world with all his lies and the spreading of propaganda like a third-world dinky dictator. Trump, singlehandedly, not only became the American leader of the White Supremacists, but also their telegraphic Joseph Goebbels disseminating distortion and deceit.
Now, imagine what his children have learned from their father.
Trump’s father played a central role in unleashing his son’s monstrosity.
