Punditry StaffIt is not hard to search the web for videos of white men threatening black police officers, or white police officers treating white violators with such care and respect. In the Middle East, religion dictates societal divide, but in America, it’s race that separates the privileged from the masses. In fact, American democracy depends on the barbarity of the political elites and white entitlement. Look at who is threatening our country. It’s the white supremacist racists re-calibrating voting rights to tip the elections in their favor and the hacks of the loser Trump in favor of a Myanmar political outcome or a fascist government modeled after the Third Reich.
The danger to our very existence comes from the entitled white supremacists in this country. Whether the violent kind who stormed the Capitol on January 6, or the organizing kind like the loser Trump.
Standing against them are most Americans who now fully understand what it means to burn a democracy in order to start a fascist autocracy.
Tucker Carlson want Americans to see the benefit of authoritarianism represented, of course, by his ilk. He chose Hungary to laud its white supremacist dictator.
WHY TUCKER CARLSON IS AIRING HIS PROGRAM OUT OF HUNGARY?
On paper Hungary is a democracy, but in reality the country has sunk into the Russian dictatorial malaise whereby one ruler keeps alternating jobs, changing the constitution, and slowly demolishing the institutions to hold that ruler accountable (i.e. Free press) in order to maintain his grip unto power indefinitely. That last part is already taking place in this country when Kevin McCarthy removes a reporter from his news conference for asking him a tough question.
Freedom House published a report that measured the democracy status in 29 countries. The report described Hungary as a “transitional or hybrid regime”, which means it is a country heading towards a full autocracy. So, why would Tucker Carlson air his program from Hungary? Because he is trying to force his viewers to entertain a similar fate for the United States. Where one white supremacist leader, like Donald Trump, can control all levers of power by declaring martial law, which will suspend the constitution and our rights along with it.
This kind of brain conditioning aims at reversing the trend coming our way where the minorities gain more power and the majority, due to mostly crashing birth rates, can no longer enjoy total control of politics as they have since 1776. The way to do it is to kill our democracy slowly as the prime minister of Hungary Viktor Orban has been doing.

If he [Joe Manchin] fails us, blame him for whatever might happen in the future to our democracy.
FOR THE PEOPLE ACT
The For the People Act the democratic Senators are negotiating today for a version that fits with Senator Joe Manchin’s protection of corporate money to continue flowing unimpeded may be voted upon within one week; the latest in September.
The S1, as the law is called, will clip the wings of those who dream of a fascist government taking over for good. That does not mean Trump will not try again and mount a coup against our democracy. But with S1, it would be very hard for the likes of Trump to win in the future. We need the law to protect us not only from him but also from Carlson’s brain washing his viewers to accept an autocracy of white supremacists.
Let us hope Joe Manchin’s help in passing S1 is sincere and not just an exercise in futility and a power trip. If he fails us, blame him for whatever might happen in the future to our democracy.
I certainly would.
