Here comes the bomb
Obama is mimicking the savagery of Assad

In an interview with Thomas L. Friedman of the New York Times, President Obama, when asked about Syria, responded with the following verbatim quote:

?? the notion that arming the rebels would have made a difference has ?always been a fantasy. This idea that we could provide some light arms or even more sophisticated arms to what was essentially an opposition made up of former doctors, farmers, pharmacists and so forth, and that they were going to be able to battle not only a well-armed state but also a well-armed state backed by Russia, backed by Iran, a battle-hardened Hezbollah, that was never in the cards.?

This is just another Obama lie.

The first Syrians who were willing to carry arms were professional defectors from the Syrian Army who called themselves the Free Syrian Army. There were mostly moderate officers Assad would have never allowed them to rise to become Generals, Colonels, and Majors in his army had they been extremists. Doctors and farmers joined them later as Assad kept gunning innocent civilians in every Syrian town or city.

The President continued in his interview by claiming that it was hard to find any moderate Syrians to arm. He ignored, of course, the part that many have abandoned their moderation, eventually, because of HIM. Had he helped the Free Syrian Army in the early days of the uprising when Senator John McCain and many others were imploring him to assist, the moderate Free Syrian Army would today be victoriously in power in Syria run by professional military men who are neither slaves to Iran, nor terror.

Most importantly, the Free Syrian Army would have been a staunch US ally, something Mr. Obama does not really care for much. Instead, Mr. Obama failed the US and Syria and he now must live with the consequences of that failure expressed in the tens of thousands of images and videos streaming out of Syria showing what he presided over.

Such convoluted excuses by a sitting US President are truly exasperating to any Syrian exposed to the tragic terror of the Assad regime. For Mr. Obama to ?assume? that Syrians were not able to free Syria from the clutches of Assad when the Free Syrian Army had surrounded Damascus at one point with no outside help whatsoever shows horrible malice on the part of Obama.

Obama cannot keep writing and re-writing history. We should never allow him this luxury because he will re-write it every time, any time, on any subject matter. The world should call him out for the lies he is uttering to the New York Times with regard to Syria.

Do you see the next lie? I do. It goes like this: ?Israel attacked civilians in Gaza and I tried to stop them?.

Let us be honest here. Obama never wanted Assad out of power; just ask Qaddafi how true this statement is.

Obama?s words to Friedman will not remove the red color of blood from his legacy.
