Watch the video below and tell us you are not as outraged as we are at the 50 Republican Senators in Congress who blocked, on the same day of the mass murder, the passage of a bill to expand the background check for gun sales. Basketball coach Steve Kerr spoke for most Americans when he blasted the GOP Senators, and called McConnell by his name, for their self-centered power.
It was the aging Senator Charles Grassley, a mean-spirited Republican who is a fixture of hate and deceit in the Senate, who blocked the request. Even if his own grand grandchildren die in a school violent mass murder, neither McConnell, nor Grassley would move the goal post. Their power is supreme.
More of our children die senselessly, and yet, here we go again trying to make sense of it all. Here we go again trying to understand our hostage situation. And here we go again questioning the very values that are governing this country.
NO SHAME
The GOP has reached a point where no shame, no appeal, and no mass murders would ever influence their decisions to let mentally-ill killers from acquiring weapons to kill children in schools. This is how low a bottom these bastards have reached.
Not even one of their own could shame them to act. In another emotional appeal by Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut, where another horrible mass murder took place in 2012, the Senator could not even move the needle addressing them directly. How can any decent American forget the Sandy Hook killing of 20 children and 6 adults? Yet, those Republican Senators could care less about our children when it comes to their power and cowardice.
Watch the video and tell us how could 50 GOP Senators hold 90% of Americans hostage to their sickening politics? How is that possible in a democracy? Truly, we have become fully a fascist country.

This country deserves better. We deserve more civility and more empathy towards our own. We deserve to send our children to schools, our seniors to shop, and our minorities to pray without someone threatening their lives just because 50 Republican Senators refuse to do the right thing.
What is the difference between Vladimir Putin who bombed schools in Ukraine and Republicans in America who block laws to protect our children from mass killers? Nothing, because they are all the same savages.
History will judge them harshly. On their hands is the blood of our children.
Bravo Senator Murphy for your eloquent delivery. Bravo coach Kerr for your fortitude and empathy. Meanwhile, the GOP is patting itself on the back for letting our children die in vain.
