Punditry StaffAfter almost two years of watching this White House react to events, Americans are beginning to understand one thing about the Joe Biden Presidency. Maybe we are blessed that he brought some dignity to the White House, but the man is like a ghost when it comes to prevention. He almost always shows up to extinguish a fire, never to prevent one. President Biden indecisiveness is sinking his agenda and the whole democratic machine. His former Republican colleagues in the Senate, who have known him for over 40 years, know exactly what buttons to push to put him in a deep snooze. So does the corrupt Joe Manchin who helped sink many of the Bills the Democrats wanted to pass.
Apparently, the President is a procrastinator. Of the worst kind. Never mind that he is always late to the party as he is willing to fight inflation after inflation exploded, and willing to protect women’s rights after they lost them, but it also seems he is unable to make a decision to avoid a crisis.
No better example than his procrastination on student debt forgiveness. He has been sitting on this matter for over a year without any meaningful action. He just seems unable to make up his mind, which makes him a follower and not a leader.
Do we have a procrastinator-in-chief in the White House unable to decide because of fear of getting it wrong?
HAS JOE BIDEN BECOME A LIABILITY?
Has President Biden become a liability? This is a very hard question to ask for any liberal-minded American because the alternative could very well be either the Fuhrer Donald Trump or some Evangelist moron on a crusade to impose their will on the rest of the country.
This is a question for presidential historians and political leaders to answer: Is Joe Biden too indecisive to lead this country? Because if you have been following the Biden presidency, you could not but notice how it oscillates on matters of national importance until the fire breaks out.
Do we have a procrastinator-in-chief in the White House unable to decide because of fear of getting it wrong? Some in the media think so. Democrats are beginning to lose faith in a President always chasing solutions to exploding problems, or sitting on problems until they explode.
Maybe the country is better off selecting another liberal President in 2024. One who can hear the American people better and is able to act quicker.
UKRAINE PROCRASTINATION
We all remember how he procrastinated over the Russian war on Ukraine by refusing to arm the Ukrainians, and not until he met our allies in Europe did they force him to act quickly. These are not the trademarks of a leader. Waiting for approval and consensus from others before acting.
His has also become indecisive when it comes to student debt. It’s been over one year since he has all the information he needs to issue that Executive Order, still he won’t. Meanwhile, millions of American students who envy their European counterparts because their governments provide them with a free higher education are suffering the consequences of his indecisiveness.
Biden’s latency is frustrating tens of millions of Americans. From abortion rights activists to those inflation has hit their pockets hard. It took President Biden over two months before issuing an Executive Order on abortion after the leak of the Supreme Court on May 2, 2022. The White House should have prepared for it from day one.
Maybe the country is better off selecting another liberal President in 2024. One who can hear the American people better and is able to act quicker. A President lobbyists cannot influence as easily because of his upbringing in the Senate.
A younger President for sure. More energy and faster on his feet.
