Two stories, in the same day, provide a hint about Joe Biden’s White House. One deals with providing Ukraine with F16 jet fighters that President Biden has been reluctant to provide, and the second story deals with the slow response to the fires in Maui. In both cases, both stories demonstrate how the Biden Presidency moves like molasses because of a flawed decision-making process geared towards the notion that time might solve the pesky problems the President is becoming legendary for not tackling.

When facing a difficult choice, the President sits on the problem for weeks and months. In the meantime, the issue becomes detrimental to the National Security. No other story than assisting Ukraine to win the war than the delivery of F16 jet fighters to the Ukraine highlights this deficient behavior.

Back in January, we wrote about Biden’s indecisiveness and refusal to act on the F16 question. It took a year before he finally acquiesced, even though military experts were sounding the alarm that Ukraine will not be able to dislodge Russia from its territories without such a crucial military hardware.

Ukraine has to suffer until 2024 while it waits for the U.S. finally agreeing to deliver the much-needed F16 jet fighters.

RUSSIAN AIR SUPERIORITY IS DECIMATING UKRAINIAN TROOPS

Put your self in President Zelensky’s place. Had the President of the United States been more decisive, the Ukrainian casualty rate would be minimal. His forces, had President Biden delivered the F16’s, would be able to defend against Russia inflicting pain and destruction on Ukrainian troops.

Instead, Joe Biden waited and waited for almost a year without taking that decision. Today, it might just be too late for Ukraine to win that war because the Biden Presidency moves like molasses.

Nick Paton Walsh of CNN writes:

So when Ukraine says it urgently needs F-16s, it is because Ukrainian troops are dying daily because of Russian air superiority. Despite Western promises, even the training is yet to begin. On Friday, Ukraine welcomed the news that the US approved the transfer of F-16s when training is complete. But it remains the case that Ukraine is unlikely to receive jets until next yearCNN by Nick Paton Walsh - August 19, 2023

Ukraine has to suffer until 2024 while it waits for the U.S. finally agreeing to deliver the much-needed F16 jet fighters. Meanwhile, the U.S. public is left in the dark about the flawed decision-making process of Joe Biden.

Having said that, there is no doubt that President Biden is the best candidate between Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis.

WATCHING MAUI BURN

On Maui, it seems the President’s response to the disaster has also been slow, even though deploying the appropriate resources by FEMA and other agencies are built into the system.

Priscilla Alvarez writes for CNN:

And on Monday, Biden will see the damage up close when he visits Maui. Ahead of his trip, the president, who faced criticism in the immediate aftermath, committed to deploying “every asset” the state needs for ongoing recovery efforts.CNN by Priscilla Alvarez - August 19, 2023

Grant you that the President acted eventually, but this example demonstrates that even when it is safe to make a decision on a domestic matter, President Biden seems to take his time. With disastrous results.

Honestly, there is no excuse for the White House to watch Maui burn without lifting a finger by delaying making a quick decision. It’s utterly inexcusable.

Having said that, there is no doubt that President Biden is the best candidate between Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis. But someone should shake him from his decision-making slumber. The legacy of his Presidency is on the line here.
