Does Age Play a Role in Biden's Lethargy?

Michael Cohen of MSNBC called Biden’s presidency “bystander“. Others were not so kind. Does age play a role in Biden’s lethargy? Is this the reason why he moves ever so slowly to tackle the big problems facing this country, and honestly, facing him and his legacy? Or could it be that he surrounded himself with indecisive men and women many of whom believe in the old adage that “Time heals all wounds” including the ones the Republicans are exacting on the country by withholding support for important legislation to help the poor people instead of wealthy corporations. Just as they withheld support to impeach Donald Trump, who is now haunting them and the GOP.

Is it Biden or is it his staff? Starting with Ron Klain? I don’t have the answer to this puzzle. All I know, like millions of Americans, is that Biden, in addition to Merrick Garland, seem to be taking too many siestas. Trump played golf more often than any other president, but how does Biden spend his time? His leadership skills are becoming a question mark.

I am sending a pack of Red Bull energy drink to the White House in the hope it may invigorate this President to start becoming more active and more assertive.

CANNOT EVEN REIN A FIRST-TERM SENATOR

Joe Biden cannot even control Kyrsten Sinema, a first-term Senator. With so many years under his belt as a political operative, this is like a rookie running back replaced Tom Brady as a quarterback. How is that possible? Especially with all the powers that the Office affords him? Americans should never vote for successful vice-presidents to become presidents (Lyndon Johnson was an exception).

Their success spells knowing how to take orders, not dispensing them. Their success means their temperaments are ill-suited for the toughness of being a U.S. President. Nice does not cut it in this world of cut throats.

Here is another glaring example.

In the background, two Democratic Senators, Joe Manchin and Bernie Sanders, are fighting in public. While Biden remains a bystander. Do you think this would have happened under the Lyndon Johnson Administration? Or George Bush? Both presidents hailing from Texas.

President Biden needs to start acting like one. His weakness is showing all over the country with the way he either mishandles matters — Afghanistan exit — or through his absence.

I am sending a box of Red Bull energy drink to the White House in the hope it may invigorate this President to start becoming more active and more assertive. More awake to the problems facing our country.

Enough Kumbaya, enough hesitation, and enough appeasement.
