Donald Trump May Yet Go to Prison for Breaking the Law

After the insurrection and the quiet that followed with regard to Donald Trump’s responsibility in instigating a coup on our democracy, many of us felt that Trump will never face justice. “Here we go again” was the sense that overwhelmed millions of Americans watching the culprits like Trump, Brooks, Hawley, and so many in Congress escape culpability in the light of day. Today comes the news, however, that if not by hook then by crook, that the New York AG Letitia James has joined the investigation of the civil cases Manhattan DA Cy Vance is pursuing of the Trump Organization to add a criminal component to his illegality. In other words, Donald Trump may yet go to prison for breaking so many laws.

We should not take NY AG action lightly. No AG wants to see eggs on their faces, so the likelihood Letitia James has indictable evidence is almost certain. The step to join is a formality after the fact.

Hallelujah, I say. Raise your hand if you would like to see Donald Trump in prison. Better yet, raise your glass of Champagne to revel in a delightful buzz.

Pour yourself another glass of Champagne. It seems there are powers at play here that will not rest until Trump lands in prison.

REMEMBER AL CAPONE

As the House is set to vote today on a January 6 Commission to get to the bottom of what happened on that day of infamy, we may yet get a sense of justice down the road. But even then, I would not bet on any resulting investigations to impact the physical freedom of the previous one. We have seen this movie before when the House managers mounted a compelling evidence of Trump’s culpability for January 6 during his impeachment.  Yet, the Senate refused to put Trump on trial.

Instinctively, we must remember Al Capone in this instance. A killer the feds were never able to catch him for his criminality but who landed in prison anyway because of IRS indictments. Strangely enough, the Trump fate is taking a similar turn. If we cannot catch him trying to mount a political coup against our Constitution, we will certainly catch him abusing the law through his business dealings. That’s the premise of AG Letitia James joining DA Cy Vance in the Trump Organization investigations.

Pour yourself another glass of Champagne. It seems there are powers at play here that will not rest until Trump lands in prison. Hopefully, they will succeed. He deserves nothing less. I can never forget Trump sharing U.S. intelligence with the Russians in 2017. He has been breaking laws and weakening our country for too long. Time for him to pay for his sins.

You know, people who say Donald Trump is smart don’t know what they are talking about. If your house is made of glass, you don’t throw stones at everyone else’s houses.

IS WEISSELBERG COOPERATING?

Allen Weisselberg, the CFO of the Trump Organization, holds the key to mapping Trump’s behavior and possible criminality. Turning that witness, as the feds turned Michael Cohen, his personal attorney, is essential to their case against the previous one.

Recently, stories have surfaced that the New York prosecutors are investigating Weisselberg sons. One assumes, presumably, to put pressure on Weisselberg to cooperate, which begs the question: Has he started to cooperate? Is this the reason why AG Letitia James has joined the investigation of DA Cy Vance? It is probable given the confidence of that announcement.

Nothing like family to soften the hardest loyalties, I say.

What did Weisselberg offer DA Vance for AG James to join the investigation? This must be the question lingering on Trump’s mind as he watches the history of his organization unravel slowly before his eyes.

You know, people who say the con man Donald Trump is smart don’t know what they are talking about. If your house is made of glass, you don’t throw stones at everyone else’s houses.

It’s the number one rule in politics and in life in general.

When Trump goes down in a fury of sweat and tears, he will have no one to blame but himself for burning every bridge he crossed with every person he worked with.

DONALD TRUMP MAY YET GO TO PRISON

Is Trump better off today than he was some five years ago? Absolutely not. His whole life of criminality is on display for all to see.

But Donald Trump cannot help himself. He was born with auto-dispensing poison  glands. Even to this day, he spends his waking hours trying to concoct attacks against powerful people who once played in his very own orbit. People like Mike Pence and Mitch McConnell. Did he think this is helpful? If he did, then he is dumber than we think.

When Trump goes down in a fury of sweat and tears, he will have no one to blame but himself for burning every bridge he crossed with every person he worked with. Even those who stand by him today do so to survive his angry lashes. Real cowards at heart.

Trump stands on an island all by himself. Not exactly by himself, he got Jr. by his side. Let’s see how the little one is going to save his father.
