Garland Thinks Unruly Passengers Are Priority Over Indicting Trump
Merrick Garland

Attorney-General Merrick Garland has issued a directive to prosecute violent airline passengers, which is a step in the right direction. Is it though when the insurrectionist-in-chief Donald Trump still threatens this Republic? Are we to believe that Garland thinks unruly passengers are a priority over the coup d’état Trump prepared for and tried to carry out on January 6? Are we to think that someone bloodying a flight attendant’s nose takes precedence over someone knocking out the whole country? I am all for prosecuting violent passengers, but it is sickening how lopsided are Garland’s priorities.

My question for AG Garland is the following: Why is Trump still free? Is it fear? Or, is it political calculation? The kind that would make Mitch McConnell more malleable for Garland to sit on the Supreme Court? Millions of Americans want answers.

If Garland is secretly preparing to indict Donald Trump, then I am willing to write an apology. Until then, this Attorney-General should expect this Blog to turn the heat on unless he takes his job seriously.

This coming January 6, it would be a full year since the coup and so far Trump seems to have intimidated the US Government into standing down when it comes to holding him accountable.

He [Rep. Adam Schiff] would never appear on CNN to demonstrate concern over Garland’s inaction if his intelligence did not indicate that Garland is giving Trump a free pass.

CONGRESS HAS DONE ITS JOB

Speaker Nancy Pelosi tried to  impeach Donald Trump not once, but twice. The Republican Party refused to follow suit thus emboldening one of the worst Presidents ever to hold office in the U.S.

Furthermore, Congress voted for a commission to investigate January 6, which is on-going. As far as many are concerned, Congress did its job. It has explored every avenue the Constitution affords this body to hold the head of the snake accountable for his crimes.

But where is our Justice Department? With the exception of indicting the insurrectionists themselves, as well as Steve Bannon for refusing to appear in front of the January 6 commission, little else has been done so far. And this is not acceptable to tens of millions of Americans who fear their democracy is teetering on the brink and is bound to collapse if Trump remains a free man.

Do you know who else agrees with this notion? Rep. Adam Schiff who is the Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. He would never appear on CNN to demonstrate concern over Garland’s inaction if his intelligence did not indicate that Garland is giving Trump a free pass.

AG Garland, please get your priorities straight. This country will never forgive you if you do not hold Donald Trump accountable for his fascist move against our government.

And no, don’t expect a seat on the Supreme Court either. Many Democratic Senators would refuse you this luxury if you don’t do your job today.
