Good Riddance to Marjorie Taylor Greene

Good Riddance to Marjorie Taylor Greene

People follow other people on Twitter for one of two reasons. Either one has an interest in what they have to say, or their professional jobs, like reporters, demand it. We belonged to neither because even her outrageous lies were not worth discussing. Apparently, Twitter agreed with the latter when it barred her account @mtgreenee from their platform. We say good riddance to Marjorie Taylor Greene, the most useless woman ever to run for Congress and win. We hope her past ardent supporters seek and find the mental health professionals that could help them cope with her absence.

Without a doubt, we are glad Twitter is putting an end to her peddling of lies. We are elated her trash is impacting fewer people now that her bullhorn has been yanked out of her hands.

As Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez once referred to her as “Deeply unwell”, many are fast coming to the same conclusion. Marjorie Taylor Greene needs mental professionals to make her normal. If ever her mind is willing to accept this fact. The woman is truly mentally ill.

Do we want politicians to pay attention to the problems voters face, or do we want the distractions the superficiality of Greene and Boebert represent to deflect our attention away from what is vitally important to this country?

TWO DOWN, FEW MORE TO GO

The Trump’s cancellation of his Twitter account has yet to register in the little brains of his supporters in Congress. Greene simply forgot it could happen to her. But now the alarm bells are feverishly ringing in the brains of Lauren Boebert, Andy Biggs, Mo Brooks, Paul Gosar, and all those who keep peddling his lies.

“How could we run again for office without Twitter?” is the question they are all asking themselves. “What does it mean in terms of dollars spent on advertising to reach our supporters if we lose the free Twitter advertising platform?”

Some of them might even ask themselves “Can we afford to peddle lies and possibly lose our re-election because Twitter might de-platform us as well? “. Good questions for their trashy minds to answer.

Twitter should ban anyone who spread egregious lies. Especially when those lies harm peoples’ lives like spreading false COVID information, or when their lies harm our democracy. It is not OK to scream bloody fire in a theater when none exists, and no one should have the illusion that their First Amendment rights are being violated when they intentionally spread misinformation with the intent of introducing fascism, or to block the orderly transfer of power after their candidates lost an election.

Who will be next to have their twitter accounts banned?

HERE COMES BOEBERT

Who will be next to have their twitter accounts banned? I say Rep. Lauren Boebert, another mentally ill Congresswoman from Colorado, who is close to that achievement.

Boebert must be shivering for the mere fact that without Twitter, some political consultant is going to recommend for her to raise an additional $10 millions more to replace the opportunity cost of the free Twitter advertising account should she lose it.

Greene did not realize the value of Twitter, but now someone is going to let her know that losing that free mean of communicating with her supporters directly will raise her re-election campaign costs. She must replace it with the shotgun, inefficient approach of TV advertising.

Our political system suffers from too many problems, and exasperating it further by Trumpists who make it impossible to govern is the last we need at this juncture in our history. Do we want politicians to pay attention to the problems voters face, or do we want the distractions the superficiality of Greene and Boebert represent to deflect our attention away from what is vitally important to this country?

This alone is enough to de-platform all the Trumpists that keep lying to the American people. To include, of course, Tucker Carlson and Fox News in general.
