Because Netanyahu wants to use any military means at his disposal to ethnically cleanse Gaza of its inhabitants, and the only way to do that is to keep calling for the destruction of Hamas.
Most major European countries and the United States are aware of Netanyahu’s final solution for Gaza. Some, like Joe Biden, are starting to worry, given the impact of Israeli terror, about their re-election chances. One has to assume as well goes for other western leaders who are watching with horror how the world has turned against their protectorate in the Middle East.
Because of Gaza, Israel is breeding a new generation of Palestinian freedom fighters who want the occupation of their lands to end.

Unless the American Zionists at AIPAC propose the United States gives up all of Ukraine to Russia and all of Taiwan to China in return for all of Gaza to Israel.
