A large contingency of America’s top CEO’s meet behind closed doors to discuss a variety of subjects dealing with the economy, the major issues facing American capitalism, and the threats to their businesses from Ron DeSantis. Far-fetched? Not when you consider the retaliatory actions Ron DeSantis is taking against Disney. Many CEOs would be asking themselves a very simple question: Would DeSantis also threaten our companies if he ever becomes President? The fight the Governor of Florida has started against Disney has the making of a failed Presidential run because not only it may dry up corporate donations, but it may destroy DeSantis politically if Disney prevailed. This begs another question: Is Ron DeSantis dumber than Trump?
We think he is. We also believe Ron DeSantis cannot think outside Florida. His is a campaign of retaliation, vengeance, and pleasing the MAGA crowd. Luckily, that’s not America.
To tell DeSantis that he cannot win against Disney, or its CEO Bob Iger, is like telling a spoiled child he cannot have a chocolate bar in a candy store, which usually is followed by screaming tantrums.
DISNEY CALLS OUT DESANTIS ANTI-BUSINESS POSITION
Every dictator, or would-be dictator, has an extravagant need to impose their will on the rest of the world. It’s a form of a mangled personality trait that seeks Utopia in accordance with their belief system, regardless of whether others believe in it or not.
This is the real reason DeSantis is acting up on Disney. He wants to control the uncontrollable, come rain or high water. As idealistic as DeSantis appears to be with his wars on books, children’s education, black history, and gun lack of control, political pragmatism dictates that one should ignore any battles they cannot win. But DeSantis idealism must prevail in Disney’s case, otherwise he is half the man he thinks he should be. That’s where his mindset lies today.

DESANTIS LACKS THE CLEVERNESS TO MOUNT A CHALLENGE
DeSantis is not clever enough to find his way out of the Bragg-Trump quagmire, which elevated the victimhood of Trump at DeSantis expense because we know that all his attempts at moving the bar in his favor have come from the local power he exercises in Florida. Powers that are non-existent on the national stage. For sure, DeSantis lacks the intellect or the Machiavellianism to climb the Trump mountain nationally now that Trump is able to use the Alvin Bragg indictment in his favor. For that, DeSantis needs wit, high intelligence, and the deviousness of a devil, none of which DeSantis possesses.
DeSantis, as we all saw in his fight against Disney, is all about brute force, not wit. In fact, Disney outwitted him easily when they made the board of the Reedy Creek sign over their powers to Disney prior to DeSantis replacing the board with his own hacks.
Another sign showing DeSantis witless behavior comes in the form of real pro-Trump influencers trolling him online with total impunity. DeSantis staff just monitors the humiliation and have yet to respond cleverly to basic anti-meme reputational tactics to protect DeSantis character online.
Like we said, Ron DeSantis is witless. He is a charging bull who considers his options only by taking into consideration all outcomes that have zero strategic value for self-preservation.
