Is the GOP Conspiring to Purge Trump For Good

Two tell-tale signs this week are all pointing to a new strategy by the GOP to cleanse U.S. politics of the loser Donald Trump. One deals with the Manhattan prosecutors re-opening the case dealing with Donald Trump paying for sex, which adds to the number of serious cases the former President needs to defend against, and the other is the willingness of former Vice-President Mike Pence to provide the DOJ with testimony against Trump with regard to his attempted coup on January 6. Both news, coming after the mid-term walloping of the GOP, are an indication that there is something happening. Is the GOP conspiring to purge Trump from politics and for good, behind the scenes, while maintaining radio silence to keep his voters engaged and voting?

Considering the losses the GOP has accumulated during the mid-term elections, it should surprise no one that the Republican leadership to include the RNC have embarked on a new stealth strategy to rid the party of his toxicity and losing ways. Not only does it make sense, but if the GOP does not, it will keep losing every election in the future as the voters have clearly indicated they want to go past Trump.

If Trump starts a war against the GOP, then it will not be stealthy. It will be open warfare like this country has never seen before.

TRICKS UP HIS SLEEVES

Trump, meanwhile, is probably considering how to respond. Fools are those who believe he will not attack the RNC and Ronna McDaniel even at the expense he may lose their support. the man, simply, cannot help himself. It’s the scorpion riding on the back of a frog as it crosses the river.

Trump is relying on the power he yields with regard to his steady and loyal voters, most of whom are the most despicable racists and bigots, to hold the GOP leadership in line. In fact, he might be willing to start a war against the GOP even if that means it’s against his own personal interests. Why? Because his instincts for revenge are far greater than his instincts for survival. It’s a trademark of all narcissists. Look no further than Elon Musk firing essential employees at Twitter, then backtracking once he realized his mistake.

If Trump starts a war against the GOP, then it will not be stealthy. It will be open warfare like this country has never seen before. All the ugliness in Trump and the delayed sharp criticism Senators like Mitch McConnell have been holding inside will dictate one headline news after another. Yes, the GOP might realize that they may lose those voters Trump was able to motivate to go the voting stations, but better sooner than later.

Our advice to the GOP is to change course. Find a balance between empowering the rich and giving in to the demands of working people on certain important issues like healthcare, better wages, and higher education.

OLD WHITE MEN

The GOP remains tightly in control of old white men who are no longer in touch with societal changes. They still believe they can have their cake and eat it too even though between new demographics and the social media — something they are clueless about — their sound bites and spins no longer work on a new generation of voters far smarter than they think.

They want Trump voters without Trump. Good luck. They want black voters while they challenge student loan relief affecting millions of black students. Again, good luck. They also want a new form of submissive black voters when they welcome a Herschel Walker among their ranks. The new Millennials, Generation Y, and Generation Z are not buying their old white men crap.

So, as the GOP conspires to purge Trump for good, it is, simultaneously, discovering that gerrymandering and voting access rights are not enough to tip the balance in their favor. Think about it, their message is not resonating with a new class of voters impacted by new demographics, and their leaders are causing them enormous losses. Talking about a rock and a hard place.

Our advice to the GOP is to change course. Find a balance between empowering the rich and giving in to the demands of working people on certain important issues like healthcare, better wages, and higher education. If not, this country is passing them by while the children of red counties migrate to urban areas and all that is left are dying old white men and disaffected generation X fellows whose love for Trump will keep them home on any November once the Fuhrer starts his war against the GOP.
