Punditry StaffIt used to be that past Israeli leaders successfully balanced between Israeli security and their responsibilities as an occupying force by showing their humanity as well. That balance has been shattered ever since the dawn of the Netanyahu era on the region. Today, Israeli violent extremism has crossed a red line when Israel kills as many Palestinian civilians as it can in a matter of weeks of carpet bombing of Gaza. The world should not see Israel through the same lens of the past, but rather as a new country whose leadership is intent on causing as much harm to the people they occupy and control.
That’s the part, unfortunately, President Biden does not understand. Dealing with Benjamin Netanyahu should be no different from dealing with any mass murderer who has committed genocide. Furthermore, providing lethal weapons to a genocidal maniac and his fanatic cabinet ministers from hell is tantamount to providing Vladimir Putin with U.S. weapons to kill Ukrainian civilians.
So, while Biden’s motives aim to secure Israel, Netanyahu’s aims are to kill as many Palestinians as he could muster. Invariably, the violent extremist elements in his cabinet who called for nuking Palestinian women and children are harming U.S. interests abroad, something that Secretary of State Antony Blinken refuses to admit. His support for the extremist government in Israel is as dedicated as that of Biden.
Still yet, both Biden and Blinken are ignoring their mistakes in the hope they simply vanish.
SHIN BET SPEAKS OUT
Our description of the people Netanyahu surrounded himself with is not as bad as the description some of past Israel Shin Bet leaders provided to the media. Shin Bet is equivalent to the FBI in the United States.
Six past heads of Shin bet described the extremists we are witnessing in today’s Israeli government as “Jewish Terrorists”. That’s not our label, but theirs. When one of your own calls you “Jewish Terrorist”, and yet President Biden hands over lethal American weapons to such people, of course it will come back to bite the United States. Sooner than later, folks. After it bites Biden in 2024.
Still yet, both Biden and Blinken are ignoring their mistakes in the hope they simply vanish. Too late for regrets for both men, who have written their legacies with the blood of over 4,200 dead Palestinian children. They will never admit that they should have delivered these weapons with some conditions attached to them. Like protecting civilian life.
Because they did not, Israeli violent extremism is out of control today. In both Gaza and the West Bank.
Who do we have to thank for this immense tragedy but the President himself? Next time in church, we hope the President atones for his mistakes, and cries uncontrollably upon confessing his sins.
