The Haaretz article starts by making sure no one can defame or decry their article as a lie. Why starts an article in this fashion? Because Haaretz knows that, for the IDF, every word is a lie, except when it suits their needs and purposes.
So, Haaretz warns the IDF, from the get go, in the first paragraph of the article against denying the accusation. It writes:
