Punditry StaffFifty-seven leaders representing the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) attended the Riyadh Emergency Summit to discuss the war in Gaza. After the summit ended, they issued a statement demanding a ceasefire, as well as condemning Israeli violence against innocent women and children. The summit is a turning point for Arab and Muslim countries as they seek answers to their lack of power in the face of a new aggressive Israel, killing indiscriminately. Therefore, look below the surface of the Riyadh Summit to predict the course their collective powers might take to impose their will on deaf western nations, protecting Israel from any accountability.
Do we know this for a fact? Of course not. But think of the devious plans Iran might suggest, to break the countries from their self-imposed jails. In terms of numbers, and in terms of oil and gas productions. The OIC weakness on the world stage just became a big ship whose rudder is finally turning. To the shame of all silent Muslims.
Hamas will die. But in its place, there are going to be 57 Arab and Muslim countries who just realized America is not their friend and that Israel must be contained.
NOT MILITARY-STYLE NATO
We are not talking about military-style NATO, or open boycotts of Israeli goods the country exports. They are too obvious.
No, think in terms of what policies can the OIC, collectively, institute to indirectly harm the U.S. economy supporting Israeli aggression and terror against Arabs and Muslims. Things like buying fewer American goods such as cars and refrigerators. Things like making it more difficult to export to the 57 countries representing 1.4 billion Muslims. And possibly buying more weapons from China and Russia as an insurance policy.
Some may even give Iran a closer look at the U.S. weapon systems they already purchased. In other words, make America pay dearly for ignoring the mass murder of Arab and Muslim women and children.
Israel, by destroying Gaza, unified all Arabs and Muslims and empowered them indirectly to start flexing their muscles in ways they never experienced since the 1973 oil embargo. Iran, during this summit, called them to wake up.
If you think Iran is not already charting that course, with help from Russia and China, then stay asleep. If you think Iran is going to miss this opportunity to see all Muslims united under one umbrella Palestinian cause, then you know so little about the Middle East. Furthermore, if you think Israel did not play right into the hands of Iran with its shortsightedness, just keep snoozing.

Just wait and see what Iran has in store for all of us, thanks to President Biden and his Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
In the meantime, both remain clueless about the harm they are causing the United States of America. But not for long.
