The 45th President is a white supremacist Protestant, and so is his AG William Barr, a modern day Roy Cohn, who was just caught cheating Federal courts. Both, who broke so many laws in the past four years, find themselves free from the shackles of the same laws that hold all other people accountable. Powerful white supremacist Protestants skirt the laws in America, often and without any remorse, which is testimonial to the fact that the laws are written for just the rest of us.
Anyone who tells you no one is above the law are the same people who tell you everyone is equal under the law. All of them peddle hogwash.
Even Rep. Kevin McCarthy, who is a Baptist, is fighting Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the January 6 Commission to investigate the insurrection, will likely never have to testify with regard to his conversations with the previous one as the insurrection unfolded. He, like the other powerful white Protestants, are not subject to our laws. They skip them like diabetics skip sweet deserts.
Of course, this is not the case for any Protestant. Just the powerful ones in positions of power.
PROTESTANTS IN AMERICA THINK THEY OWN THE COUNTRY
Most old white men in power, who also happen to be Protestants, believe the United States of America is theirs. They own it like a shareholder owns stocks in a corporation. But while many Protestants are open-minded and believe everyone should own a share of the USA Corporation, the white supremacist old white Protestant men, like Trump and Barr, are adamant about owning a 100% and running the corporation 100% of the time.
Part of what we are witnessing today in the form of an angry GOP is directly related to the fact that we have two Catholics (President Joe Biden and Speaker Nancy Pelosi) and a Jew gentleman (Majority Leader Chuck Schumer) running the whole USA Corporation. This is not sitting well with the white supremacist Protestants.
That ownership affords them many privileges. One of which is that they can skirt our laws, and there is no institution or body to hold them accountable. Observe how quiet is the White House and the Justice Department are on holding any of the top leadership of the GOP, involved in the insurrection, publicly responsible and therefore accountable. The public does not even know what the Justice Departments is doing with regard to Senator Josh Hawley. If I had to make a guess, probably nothing. No Jewish Attorney General is going to shake that Protestant tree of anger.
Folks, powerful white Protestants skirt the laws in America. We are a country of laws, except for the white Protestant supremacists sitting above them.
POWERFUL WHITE SUPREMACIST PROTESTANTS SKIRT THE LAW
Take 18 U.S. Code § 872: “Extortion by officers or employees of the United States.”
How many years in jail is Donald Trump spending for his phone call to the Ukrainian President extorting him for information and indictment of President Joe Biden in return for releasing U.S. aid?
Or 18 U.S. Code § 610: “Coercion of political activity.”
How many years in jail is Donald Trump spending for his coercive political activities with regard to influence for favors, or interference in investigations to intimidate?
Who is mostly protecting the previous one? I tell you who. It’s old white Protestant Senators who believe in the rule of law for anyone but themselves.
Folks, powerful white supremacist Protestants skirt the laws in America. We are a country of laws, except for the very few sitting above them.
Every US citizen who did not vote for Trump has the right to ask why is he not in prison.
THE 12 LAWS DONALD TRUMP BROKE. SO FAR.
So far, Donald Trump broke 12 laws for which any other non-powerful white Protestant would be spending time in jail today. But not Trump who is above the law.
Let’s count them.
- Freezing Ukrainian Assets
- Extortion
- Refusal to testify
- Coercion of others
- Election interference
- Illegally soliciting aid from a foreign government in an election
- Misappropriation
- Failing to keep records
- Porn escorts hush money
- Market manipulation
- Breaking treaties
- Using non profit funds for himself
Yet, here he sits on top of the heap, unaccountable and ready to break even more laws. Every US citizen who did not vote for Trump has the right to ask why is he not in prison. Any prosecutor would tell you that the list of crimes he committed could easily land him in a prison for fifty years.
So, why is he not? How can we teach our children to respect the rule of law when some in this country trash them and make a mockery of them?
Donald Trump should go to prison if we are a real democracy.
