But in this vast wilderness of cowards and sycophants, there are voices of hope we have an obligation to recognize. Let us praise the courage of Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) for standing up to the bully Donald Trump by declaring she will vote with the House Democrats to impeach him.
It is one thing to call yourself a patriot, but quite another to act like one without fear or hesitation. In my book, Rep. Liz Cheney is an American Patriot that I hope, one day, she will have as a positive impact on the nation from the lectern of higher powers. Our country needs such leaders to steer it from this unhinged period of the Donald Trump era.
Vice-President Dick Cheney must be very proud of his daughter leading the voices of fortitude in Congress.
It is treason to stand by a President who led an Insurrection against the United States of America.

It is notable to mention that two other Republicans have also issued statements to impeach Donald Trump. Conscious over narrow interests, bravery over Cruziness or Hawleyness.
It is important for any Republican to pledge fealty to Donald Trump to feel the anger of the country descend upon them like a bolt of thunder. Let us make sure they have no place to hide and no sanctuary to run to.
It is treason to stand by a President who led an Insurrection against the United States of America. These are people who have no principles and no morals.
