Ron DeSantis is a Cruel Joke

The latest news for Ron DeSantis isn’t pretty. The Florida Governor is dropping like a rock in polls and, in one of them, he is sharing the second place with Vivek Ramaswamy at 10% of all primary voters. How low is low for Ron DeSantis before he drops out of the race? Would 5% support be sufficient? Or, maybe he needs to land in the 1% territory before he realizes how much people dislike him the more they get to know him. Ron DeSantis is a cruel joke whose campaign is an accident of the worst kind, dressed as a redemption, aiming its venom at everyone that does not look like him, or think like him. How is that for a beauty contest from hell!

At the end of the day, we believe Ron DeSantis will have his wife Casey on his side, plus a number of campaign staffers, if this trend of polling continues.

Talk about an under-achiever buffoon.

UNFIT FOR ANYTHING BUT TO SHOW ANGER

Not that we support his nemesis, Donald Trump. We do not. But the man is honestly unfit to be anything but a Governor, and even then, we believe he would lose that election next time without the Trump boost.

As far as we are concerned, Ron DeSantis is a blip on America’s radar. His political life expectancy is commensurate with a soap bubble. The man is unfit for anything but the role of a white angry man throwing fits because people oppose his politics and ideology. Just a sad, sad short political story.

Imagine this scenario. Since he announced his candidacy in May, his poll numbers have dropped from 31% to 10% today. We believe, even if the indictments of Donald Trump land the former President in prison, Ron DeSantis polling numbers will continue to sink. A 5% approval among registered GOP voters is probable by the time he reaches the convention floor in Milwaukee in July 2024.

If that happens, you can forget Ron DeSantis, just as the Democrats have forgotten Michael Dukakis. He will no longer matter electability-wise, or memory-wise.

Ron DeSantis is a cruel joke. Like most GOP Governors around the country whose realism kept them in their lanes, the DeSantis angry, lashing robotic personae ventured in the wilderness and got bitten by werewolves. Real ones.

The problem is that he still thinks he can win the nomination. Not on his own merit, but because of his ignorant and inflated ego. Trump or no Trump, Ron DeSantis is a loser. We all are watching him crash in slow motion.
