Punditry StaffWhen it comes to facing the mighty American military technology on the battlefields in Ukraine, Russian military hardware is just scrap metal. We witnessed this reality first-hand when the Patriot air defense system downed the much-touted Russian hypersonic Kinzhal missile as it tried to attack the very Patriot battery that destroyed it. We can guarantee you a fact. There is no waiting list of countries trying to buy the Kinzhal missiles, very much underperforming before our eyes.
Anyone who had any doubt about the superiority of the American military hardware has since put those doubts to bed.
Folks, Russia is only scary because of its nuclear arsenal. Without it, the country is on par with Venezuela, militarily-speaking.
RUSSIAN TESTING
It all started when Russia tested all its weaponry, with much bravado and fanfare, in Syria. Against helpless civilians firing AK-47’s on their Su-35 jet fighters, or huddling in shelters as Russian new munitions penetrated deep to massacre hundreds at a time. That is not testing, the Russian defense ministry is just learning as it battles determined Ukrainians defending with western technology.
And while the world watches, it is coming to one easy conclusion: Russian military hardware is just scrap metal compared to the superiority of the American and European weapon systems. Putin needs to put his dream of “Vladimir the Great” on the back burner. It is not happening, nor will he and his military complex be able to achieve any more wins on the battlefields in Europe.
And if he can afford it, Putin would not hesitate a moment to find another helpless, third-world country to flex his big muscles to recoup some of that glory he felt with great satisfaction during his Syrian campaign of terror.
But Ukraine and her allies won’t let him have it, as it buries his heap of scrap metal in Donetsk and Luhansk. Downing the spurious Kinzhal missile was like the last nail in the coffin of Putin’s military export capabilities. We can’t wait for that dog fight in the skies for our Air Force to blow away the smoke and mirrors surrounding his Su-35 jet fighters.
