Punditry StaffFor goodness sake, can someone do something about Marjorie Taylor Greene, the representative from Georgia who fell on her head when a baby and who today exhibits all the signs of a demented, mentally deranged woman unable to contain her anger? From stalking a survivor of the Parkland mass shooting to scaring Rep. Cori Bush to her wits, she has been a threat to everyone from day one on the Hill. Now, we come to learn the mentally deranged MTG confronted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez outside the House chamber that two Washington Posts reporters witnessed first-hand. This has gone too far. It’s up to the House leadership to censure this woman. Speaker Pelosi must curtail Marjorie Taylor Greene’s violent outbursts against others.
Rep. Kevin McCarthy, her boss, does not have the spine to discipline a favorite of the previous one. So the task falls on the shoulders of the Democrats to downsize her to the limits of her mental capacity.
As I have said on many occasions before, both political parties select the candidates they think would win an election without vetting them for any mental illnesses and without subjecting them to some kind of psychiatric rigorous tests to see if they qualify to sit in Congress. This has to change because the people are angry and as a result they are electing some sickos.
There must be consequences for Marjorie Taylor Greene unhinged behavior.
PASS THE LAWS NECESSARY SPECIFICALLY TARGETING MENTALLY DERANGED LAWMAKERS
If Speaker Pelosi feels that her hands are tied, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez should suggest a new law in which it forces members of Congress who exhibit unusual behavior to be subjected to a psychiatric profile. Failure to pass the tests has consequences that go as far as removal from the House.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Evil doers will use such law as a political tool to punish their opponents. But not if the law specifically addresses confrontational encounters by one member against another, which almost never happens. Speaker Pelosi has a duty to stop Marjorie Taylor Greene violent tendencies. Knowing she carries guns almost at all times, what happens if she confronts someone one day outside Congress and things get ugly? Who is to blame but our lack of fortitude and our lack of responsible behavior?
This is not the first time some airhead confronts AOC for her progressive policies. It happened before when Ted Yoho, a Floridan Congressman, called her “f***** bitch” on the steps of the Capitol. AOC put Yoho to shame on the House floor. He has, since, apologized publicly and been a good obedient boy.
But from her history, we know that Marjorie Taylor Greene would never apologize, nor will she stop her violent conduct against other members she disagrees with on policy. There must be consequences for her unhinged behavior. Every member of the Democratic Caucus who is not a white supremacist Protestant is in danger because of her.
And if you think she [Marjorie Taylor Greene] is not capable of bringing her AR-15 automatic weapon into the Capitol and spraying all the Democrats to please her boss, then we are even more ignorant than her.
MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE IS ABNORMAL
Marjorie Taylor Greene is an abnormal person. Her faculties are not only lacking, but her aggressive personality makes her a danger to all her colleagues. While sitting on the sideline might be convenient for the GOP, ignoring her outbursts might end up costing them much more. The truth is that without any committee assignments the House already stripped her of due to her hysterical nature, she is just a loose cannon looking for a cause. And loose canons, sooner or later, fire their ammunition at someone, somewhere.
Speaker Pelosi must curtail Marjorie Taylor Greene’s cruelty against her colleagues. If she does not, we may one day wake up to her deranged and unhinged behavior with some tragic consequences.
Every day we ignore her psychotic personality is one day closer to watching her unravel. And if you think she is not capable of bringing her AR-15 automatic weapon into the Capitol and spraying all the Democrats to please the previous one, then we are even more ignorant than her.
