The Bible thumping Mike Johnson will leave a deep scar on our politics as his Noah’s Ark ideology clash over the realities of the 21st century most Americans deem important to modern life.
In reality, the fireworks have already started with his first move as Speaker.
Attached to the bill funding aid to Israel that President Biden proposed was another request to rescind, dollar for dollar, the same amount from the IRS budget. The one that follows rich cheaters to reclaim what they owe the U.S. Government in back taxes. Since the request will be dead on arrival at the Senate level, as well as a Biden’s veto, we wonder whether Mike Johnson’s true intentions are not to fund Israel.
Remember, Johnson is a MAGA Republican, He is also an architect of the January 6 insurrection where we witnessed white blooded Americans wear T-Shirts glorifying Camp Auschwitz. In one’s mind, one cannot help but calculate that one plus one equals two, not three.
As long as Donald Trump lives and his authoritarianism goes unchecked, America is in danger of losing its most precious raison d’être: The U.S. Constitution.
MAINSTREAM FANATICISM
Fanaticism and extremism have gone mainstream. There are no middle of the road, or moderate Republicans in Congress anymore as Donald Trump wills his MAGA axe to bend Congress to his world views that only a small portion of Americans agree with. And who will be the bearer of that sword but Johnson? The Bible thumping Mike Johnson, wearing an expensive suit to cover his medieval heart and a baby face figure behind which he hides his dangerous mind.

RESPONDING TO THE MAGA THREAT
How can Americans respond to the MAGA continued threat? Foremost, if you are relying on the Red States to suddenly realize the impact of the MAGA menace, don’t. The uninformed and the misinformed, thanks to Fox News, still live in their caves of ignorance. They will continue to vote for the likes of Greene, Boebert, and Gaetz.
The country needs the normal Republicans in urban areas to release Congress from the grip of Trump. How? By voting for Democrats who are unwilling to bend to Trump’s will. The so-called moderate Republicans no longer exist in this pit of snakes. They all have been devoured and consumed with the election of Mike Johnson.
And if anyone believes the country is already too divided, you ain’t seen nothing yet. The Bible thumping Mike Johnson is poised to break it further apart by imposing his medievalism on the rest of us. Just like the Taliban impose the medievalist Koran on Afghanistan.
Any wonder why a record number of Americans are acquiring secondary citizenship? Or, simply giving up on their U.S. citizenship to object to the country’s downhill race towards obliviousness?
