The Burden of Jeff Bezos on Middle Class America

The Burden of Jeff Bezos on Middle Class America
Jeff Bezos Taxpayer Funded Redundant Space Program

Jeff Bezos is extending his socialist hand to the U.S. Government to pay him $10 billions of our tax money for an unnecessary and redundant moon space program. While the middle class is melting away, the richest man in the world is playing Monopoly with our taxes. In my opinion, the burden of Jeff Bezos on middle class America is both illegal and unconscionable. These funds Bezos is seeking are narcissistic in nature and only aim to upstage the second richest man in the world Elon Musk.

Do you get the feeling the very rich are just imbecilic infants playing with expensive toys and promoting ideas that are totally inaccessible to the non-billionaires? If an asteroid is about to hit our planet, who do you think will get prime seats to inhabit Mars? I guarantee you, it won’t be your gardener, or your bartender. Opening new space frontiers before we solve the many problems of our planet is like an ER doctor abandoning a dying patient to visit another with a twisted ankle.

With all the anger America is experiencing from the economic inequalities, Jeff Bezos is dousing gasoline on America’s social fires, which will not end up well.

JEFF BEZOS REPRESENTS AMERICA’S VERSAILLES TREATY

Literally speaking, Bezos represents America’s own Versailles Treaty. Let me explain.

After WWI, the Versailles Treaty that the allies forced on Germany to sign, held the country fiscally responsible for war reparations. To the tune of $6 billions. With an average inflation rate of 2.85% a year, in today’s dollars, the German reparations bill of 1918 would have amounted to over $108 trillions. That’s five times the U.S. GDP.

It was one of the worst treaties ever signed in modern history as it angered the German population who suffered tremendous economic setbacks. The Treaty provided the foundation for the rise of Adolph Hitler.

The monster played on the anger of the Germans to rise to power. Just like the previous one took advantage of the anger of the middle class to become President and to storm The Capitol.

Jeff Bezos, and all the greedy billionaires, seeking tax abatement, government hand-outs, and evading paying their fair share of taxes during these difficult economic conditions for 50% of all Americans represent our own Versailles Treaty. Their greed is taking us down an ugly road.

With all the anger America is experiencing from the economic inequalities, Jeff Bezos is dousing gasoline on America’s social fires, which will not end up well. If Bezos wants to develop his unnecessary space program, let him do it on his own dime.

In my opinion, the Jeff Bezos of the world are as responsible for January 6 as Donald Trump has been.

AN ALTERNATIVE REALITY

Bezos lives in an alternative reality. He is totally oblivious to the anger we all saw on January 6; further, he is utterly unconcerned with the income inequality this country is experiencing as a result of his greed.

When the baby boomers generation garnered 21% of all national wealth to live comfortably, the Millennials of today are dealing with only 4% of all national wealth. That’s one quarter of what their parents enjoyed. All thanks to the billionaires who keep raiding the government coffers through corporate socialism; or by not paying their fair share of taxes.

Add to this equation the Republicans who direct as much funds to the wealthiest Americans, and we are decimating slowly the middle class in America, which might revolt violently one day. Much more than what happened on January 6. Think Bastille.

In my opinion, the Jeff Bezos of the world are as responsible for January 6 as Donald Trump has been. The Jeff Bezos burden on middle class America cannot be tossed aside anymore.

The rich get all the tax breaks while we mortgage the future of our own children.

BUYING SENATORS

By paying over $600,000 in lobbying fees, Bezos bought all the Senators he needs to get our $10 billions, and leave us to pay the bill through higher taxes or less government programs to assist the middle class and those at the bottom of our social scale.

One reason why America has an expensive higher education system that is dragging tens of millions of young Americans down the debt rabbit hole is because there is never enough money for the government to spend on its middle class. The rich get all the tax breaks while we mortgage the future of our own children.

Besides Senator Bernie Sanders who is trying to stop Jeff Bezos from access to our money, very few other Senators are willing to protect Americans from these predators. Why? Because our democracy is for sale through unethical and unworthy politicians.

Most of these politicians only care about their own self interests. Most of them only care about re-elections and their own power.
