Punditry StaffDespite the Republican Party has lost its compass, and despite the refusal of its leaders to derail the Big Lie in order to save our democracy, both Houses are at risk, come 2022 mid-term elections, to turn over to lawmakers who believe Jewish lasers from space start the fires in California or lawmakers who deny Asian-Americans the right to defend themselves against hate. God help us all if today’s Trump Republicans regain control of Congress. They will do anything to further erode the trust we have in our own democratic system of government and in the rule of law. The evil of white supremacists may yet control Congress, and this time around they will pass the laws necessary in both Houses never to lose power again to other religions or minorities. It’s all about white Protestant supremacist men destroying diversity.
Every action and every decision the despicable duo of Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell are taking today aims for that goal.
Discard the January 6 commission? We must to save the white supremacists from guilt.
Remove anti-Trump detractors from leadership positions? We bow to our little dear leader wishes.
Keep on lying to the public about the 2020 elections? Our dumb voters expect nothing less.
I say, pity the man who believes he knows everything when his knowledge spins around a world he does not understand.
BOTTOM LINE: FOOLISH AND IGNORANT VOTERS
The Republicans know what their voters are like. They are a heavenly gift because of their foolishness and ignorance, and their gullibility makes the United States harbor the stupidest voters in the world. I know because I have lived on three different continents. There is no leader around the world running for office who does not wish his country’s voters could be similar to most of the GOP voters. Gullible, naive, and so easy to manipulate. It’s the honest truth.
The more naive they are, the less work the GOP undertakes to keep the lies coming. Despite over 70 defeats in courts as to the validity of the elections of 2020, millions of GOP voters still believe the elections were stolen. Ask them how and their blank faces tell a tale. One responded by saying “I saw it on TV”. How is that for “there is a sucker born every minute”!
What a godsend gift to Mitch McConnell and his cohorts to build their careers on.

The Republicans are totally focused on regaining control of both Houses using their gullible voter base. Now, if enough independents like President Biden and see value in passing laws the GOP is unwilling to even consider without diluting them into oblivion — Like the American Families Act and the SMART Infrastructure Act — then maybe it won’t be so easy. I will let people with far better knowledge make that call.

THE US IS BREAKING APART
Here is a stat I listened to Matthew Dowd make on MSNBC. White heterosexual males represent 25% of our population, yet they control 80% of our politics and economy. Down from 90%, which explains their anger and Trump lashing out at our democracy. 80% is not good enough for these evil white supremacists Evangelical Protestants.
Suffice to say that should the GOP win both Houses, this country is in big trouble. The United States, as a country, is breaking into bits before our eyes because of the morbidity of our white Protestant politicians more interested in absolute power than sharing it, and more interested in denying the truth than upholding our democracy. We have reached the zenith of a totally depraved political system.
Ask yourself, how could our very own State Department promote democracy overseas when our own is so broken? We are ever so vulnerable to a con artist manipulating millions of stupid voters into crushing the American experience.
