Punditry StaffApparently, Jim Jordan is dispatching an army of MAGA supporters to threaten the holdouts in the GOP unwilling to seat him as their Speaker. The idiotic fascists ruling the MAGA world believe that through intimidation and strong arms tactics, they can persuade the remaining representatives to go along with a Jordan candidacy. To say that it backfired is an understatement. Those Jordan threatened took to the media to air their grievance and anger at him, who claims he had nothing to do with the bullying he most likely unleashed.
Just your typical fascist Donald Trump afternoon in Congress. Full of authoritarian threats, as if everyone else is just a patsy. Let see how many representatives are not going to vote for him in the third round. We estimate at least 30 after Jordan’s threats. Hey, Jordan, these are lawmakers you are threatening, not your average neighborhood grocery store in the 1970s Bronx.
The problem with these tactics is that there is no central figure behind them except Donald Trump, and everyone goes along with it, just like a cheep dog corralling his flock.

LOOK FOR ALTERNATIVES
What might metastasize today is a larger number of GOP lawmakers rally behind a different figure altogether to kill Jordan’s candidacy. Not by enough votes to elect that person, but by enough votes to show their displeasure with Jim Jordan fascist tactics. n other words, more Representatives would oppose Jordan than the last two earlier rounds.
There is another possibility Maryland lawmaker Jamie Raskin proposed, which is probably the most interesting in all this debacle. Raskin said that there are only three GOP figures that would muster enough votes from Democrats to elect as Speaker of the House. Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, or Angus King.

So, stay tuned for the idiotic fascists ruling the MAGA world to treat everyone as their lowest common denominator. Along with the same level of education as their worst voters.
ENOUGH MAGA IDIOTS
All three are well known to oppose Donald Trump and all his backers in the House and the Senate. Ascending to the Speaker position not only safeguards Congress from Trump’s influence, which is the main reason Jamie Raskin suggested their names, but it also moves the institution towards compromise to do its job of serving the American people. Talk about patriots like Jamie Raskin.
Here, at Punditry, we wholeheartedly agree to the candidacy of any names Raskin recommended. Even if someone does not vote for the Republicans, we are all suffering from fatigue watching this much incompetency rear its ugly head in Congress.
Meanwhile, Matt Gaetz is beginning to garner the same reputation as his boss. That of an idiot. Why? Because the man did not think through his actions when he went after Kevin McCarthy. Thanks to him, he single-handedly paralyzed Congress and showed America why they should never trust a MAGA Republican to govern. They are incapable of such honor.
