Look at the anger, the disenchantment, the conspiracies brewing, the violence on a daily basis by often middle class Americans who lost their trust in their own Government. Further, look at how America has changed the last fifty years when Reagan put his fingers on the scale to begin the journey of the largest income inequality this country has ever experienced. Few billionaires might consider that maybe they pushed too much the Government to act in their interests at the expense of the middle class. Maybe, some of them might consider the lessons of Louis XVI or another Hitler who took advantage of the anger the Versailles Treaty propagated to rise to power. As if we did not come close with Donald Trump. In reality, though, billionaires like the Koch Brothers are conspiring to kill the For the People Act could care less about what might happen to their country.
One would think some billionaires in this great country of ours might suddenly realize the folly of owning our Congress and steering the Government to always satisfy their interests first often at the expense of the rest of Americans. Hélas, this does not seem to be the case. The fact that the Koch Brothers, David and Charles Koch, are conspiring to kill H.R. 1 by doing the research necessary to see how to attack it is ample evidence that this country is heading towards more disasters than merely an insurrection.

LISTEN AND WEEP FOR AMERICA
Few more billions in return for pushing America over the edge does not seem to manifest any red flags in the minds of these gorillas. America’s billionaires have all lost any sense of reality.
Listen to the audio below captured by The New Yorker of a presentation by Kyle McKenzie, the research director for the Koch-run advocacy group Stand Together. It was a January 8th call among conservative opponents of H.R. 1
The interesting part in the audio is Mr. McKenzie admitting how popular is the law among liberals and conservatives alike. In other words, how much Americans are in favor of taking control of their own Government again to serve their interests. Not just the 800 billionaire gorillas stomping on our democracy.
For the first time, Americans express disillusionment with the rich without any class warfare overtones. These are not communist farmers, socialist workers, or left agitators. These are everyday, honest to goodness capitalists deciding that enough is enough. If anything, this should worry the likes of the Koch Brothers, but it does not seem to matter to them. They are totally oblivious to how destructive they have become to America’s political system.
In return for offering West Virginia and Arizona extra dollars for infrastructure, kill the filibuster and ram the whole H.R.1 through.
BREAK IT AND LOSE
President Joe Biden has expressed a willingness to break H.R.1 into pieces. Why? Because Joe Manchin has expressed his objections to giving the people the right to protect their democracy from the billionaire predators lurking. If Biden agrees to breaking the law before a Senate vote, guess which piece will disappear faster than a Koch can say Sayanora? The piece dealing with billionaire donations becoming a public record.
These bastards not only want to keep control of their oversized powers over our institutions to serve their interests only, but they want to do it in the middle of the night when no one is looking, and no one would ever know how much money they spent on what or whom.
And some in this country believe we are a real democracy.
If Biden does not transform America today, not through overspending or underspending federal dollars, but through giving the people back control over their democracy, he will be blamed for it by historians. Why? Because he had the chance and he missed it. Just like Barack Obama missed so many during his two-terms. Never has history been so favorable for a President to set the country on the right course again. And if Biden fails to do the right thing in the name of bipartisanship, his legacy would suffer the same fate as Obama’s legacy is suffering today.

All at the hands of the greed of American billionaires unwilling to become part of the solution instead of the main problem.
