An illusionist is a deceiver who directs his audience exactly in the opposite direction of how and where they practice their crafts. Considering the GOP attacks on President Biden with regard to student debt cancellation, the Republican masterful illusion act aims at distracting voters from the real threat of religious extremism on abortion rights. “Look here, not there” has become McConnell’s signature tactic as mid-term election approaches and the country awakens to a Christian Talibanism courtesy of the new Republican Party and its cult leader.

When 60% of Americans support student debt forgiveness and 61% of voters think abortion should be legal, it is hard to fathom, even with gerrymandering and new voting rights restrictions the GOP has enacted across many States, how this new extremism could swing election results favoring their candidates in these upcoming mid-term elections. Unless, of course, the Republican masterful illusion act works its magic.

Fellow citizens, if the new religious, Taliban-like Christians, now in control of the GOP, win big in less than 3 months time, they will legislate new laws to make everyone squirm with disgust. How would you like to wake up one day to find out they banned The Great Gatsby from libraries, or the Harry Potter series because of its depiction of sorcery?

Nothing is too excessive for these miscreants. Between Jesus this and Jesus that, they soon might as well introduce a new American version of the Inquisition.

The American way is be a religious person minding your own business. Instead of imposing your own ideology on others. Everyone respects a non-judgmental God-fearing Christian.

Come November, we will find out whether this religious extremism can be placed on life support. For the good of the country.

ABORTION RIGHTS ARE ON THE BALLOT DURING BOTH NOVEMBERS

The Republicans are quite nervous about the recently abolished abortion rights that three extremist Supreme Court Justices have enacted with deep consequences for women and the country in general. States the GOP control quickly affirmed SCOTUS decision without any exit ramp for rape and incest.

This led to hundreds of tragic stories the media did not hesitate to publish to showcase the impact of religious extremism on the lives of everyday citizens. None captured the hearts and the minds of Americans like the little 10-year girl whose rape and consequent pregnancy highlighted how religious extremism affects the innocent.

In the meantime, the Republican masterful illusionists are misdirecting the attention of the American people in the hope they forget the damage their policies are causing. Not so fast Senator McConnell. Most Americans are not stupid. Come November, they will show how angry they are with this new Republican Party out of touch with reality. Come November, we will find out whether this religious extremism can be placed on life support. For the good of the country.

Just say anything, even lies, to garner the votes of their ignorant voters. To include taking credit for money spent in their districts by Bills they voted against.

UNFIT TO VOTE

There are people in America who are unfit to vote. They do not vet candidates, nor do they read about their policies to grasp the sincerity and honesty of the bill of goods their Representatives try to sell them every election cycle. Most, unfortunately, are GOP voters with very little education. The majority of Trump supporters cannot distinguish between the role of a Senator as opposed to a Congressman in terms of legislative responsibilities. How is someone fit to vote when they don’t understand the basic role of our government elected officials is beyond us.

It is quite easy, under these circumstances, for the Republican candidates to turn illusionists to win their districts. Just say anything, even lies, to garner the votes of their ignorant voters. To include taking credit for money spent in their districts by Bills they voted against. Who would do that but an illusionist communicating with his ignorant and inattentive audience?

The hope is that the Democrats are going to bombard the airwaves with ads to highlight where the Republicans are taking this country with the extremism we are witnessing by their policies. We hope they reach that audience effectively.

We also hope that Republican women might say one thing to their husbands and the public, but might, during casting their secret votes, select those candidates who would look after their rights as women.
