Punditry StaffBecause of its unabated terror against helpless civilians, without a doubt the whole world hates Israel today more than it hated Germany circa 1939. Yet, the Israeli leadership and its people are clueless about the impact of that hate going forward. When was the last time you listened to a President of a neutral country asking for a global boycott of another? It happened in Columbia right after the U.N. vote to seek an immediate ceasefire when President Gustavo Petro said, “I invite the nations of the world to ensure that if Israel breaks this ceasefire, diplomatic relations will be broken with that country.”
The hate emanates because of many reasons. One is the inequality of the fight between Israel and Hamas. Just imagine using the most sophisticated and deadliest weapons on the planet against people who cannot defend themselves. People who are using machine guns and RPGs. That’s the Israeli storied existence in one sentence.
Second comes the extreme violence the Israelis have showed the world they are capable of showing against people they have been occupying for 75 years. Many people did not understand that custodial relationship, but now they see it as a master enslaving people against their will.
Third are the lies Israel has been promoting in defending its positions. From false accusations of rape by Hamas to beheaded babies, there is no lie Israel cannot fabricate to justify its terror.
And as economic boycotts changed South Africa forever, so will the boycotts against Israel that are coming down the pike also change Israel forever.
WE PREDICT
We predict that Israel is going to endure a long and energized BDS movement that will suck the oxygen out of its economy. Countries are going to refuse to buy Israeli products and services to empower Zionism and its system of apartheid. Especially if Israel refuses to abide by U.N. Resolution 2728. Mark our word, it is coming.
Some Asian and European countries are already implementing boycotts. Japanese company Itochu, for example, has already cut its ties to Elbit, an Israeli weapon manufacturer. The whole city of Liège, in Belgium, has cut all ties with the whole country of Israel. Many, many more will follow in the aftermath of the U.N. Resolution to force a ceasefire if Israel refuses to abide by the will of the international community.
As we have watched in real time the destruction of Gaza and the deliberate mass killings of its women and children by Israel, we are also watching in real time Israel imploding under pressure. Exactly the kind that previously decimated the apartheid system of South Africa. And as economic boycotts changed South Africa forever, so will the boycotts against Israel that are coming down the pike also change Israel forever.
The world is not going to allow a bunch of terrorist settlers dictate the agenda of war and peace. Whether AIPAC likes or not.
ZIONISM WILL NOT SURVIVE
How could Zionism survive Gaza or the hate people across the globe are expressing towards Israel? Even if the United States comes to the rescue. Zionism has not earned the right to be an ideology that belong to any human race. Not even close. Moreover, the Israel that Netanyahu has built over the last 15 years must not continue to endure.
Israel must revert to a more peaceful country able to coexist with the Palestinians. It must forget its “from the Euphrates to the Nile” dream. It will not happen now that the world has fully witnessed the danger of Zionism on world peace and prosperity.
The world is not going to allow a bunch of terrorist settlers dictate the agenda of war and peace. Whether AIPAC likes or not.
If not, count on another war every few years that may not go Israel’s way now that the world has witnessed first-hand the depravity of Zionism.
