When one email makes it all worth it

Terrorist Assad Set to Starve Aleppo With Kurdish Help
Desperate Syrian rebels turn homes into weapons factories
Syria crisis: starving children forced to survive on fruit, leaves and nuts

Sometimes, I receive emails whose simplicity but strong message makes your struggle all worth it.

The following email from a source that shall remain anonymous is one such correspondence.

I write to thank you for the RPS Passover greeting.  My grandfather was born in Beirut in 1898, and his father came from Aleppo where the family lived for centuries.  His immigration log shows he came to the U.S. as a boy from “Beirut, Syria.”  Were he alive today, RPS’s Passover greeting would bring tears to his eyes, something he could not imagine in his time.
