The United States, with all its might, cannot invade terror-promoting nations whose population exceeds 50 million people. Beyond these numbers, we would need more than a million in-country soldiers to contain the terror. Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg has invaded countries populating 3 Billion people, which makes Facebook 100 times more powerful than the U.S. military. He used his controlling interest in the platform to radicalize hundreds of millions of people for pure profits. which makes Zuckerberg the most dangerous man in the world. How else can you describe a thirty-something guy who, through technology, controls almost half the earth’s population with such an immoral disposition and no guiding compass of compassion?
Hitler? Stalin? They are novices if one compares them to Mark Zuckerberg and the powers he commands to destroy nations and people. Something that the “Facebook Papers” show clearly he is willing to undertake in return for higher profits.
What are these profits? Facebook just announced its quarterly revenues, which hit the scale at $29 Billions with a net bottom line at over $10 Billions.
Lawless capitalism at its worst.
If Facebook scrubbed the accounts peddling the misinformation on its platform, it would not be in any trouble.
THE POWER OF SUGGESTION
In its simplest form, the power of suggestion is “… when an individual [or company] has an idea conveyed to them, and that idea, in turn, becomes reality.”
When Facebook suggests for its members to follow a conspiratorial Facebook group, or respond to an Oath Keeper ad online, people respond and it becomes real. People respond to the power of suggestion. This is what Facebook has been doing to its members to keep them engaged, which in turn keep them connected to the platform, and which in turn delivers more ads to view.
If Facebook scrubbed the accounts peddling the misinformation on its platform, it would not be in any trouble. No one would mind an ad for a good book to read if people hang around the platform. The problem is that Facebook has selectively embraced spreading fear and misinformation because it engages people more often.
Never underestimate the power of suggestion, especially when the U.S. voters are as gullible.
He [Zuckerberg] is as much responsible for breaking our democracy as Trump has been, if not more.
ZUCKERBERG’S ASSETS MUST BE NEUTRALIZED
There is no other way to say it. Congress must neutralize the assets under Zuckerberg’s control. Even if he commits to re-working his algorithm, there is no guarantee he won’t, out of untamed greed, reload the gun and fire again. This is a man that should not be trusted with manipulating the minds of 3 billion people because the consequences could be dire.
The evil Zuckerberg did not care about Americans falling in conspiratorial traps by pushing them hard into a culture of hate and division. What makes you feel he would care about the fates of other people in other countries? If Donald Trump sparked the insurrection of 2020, Zuckerberg is responsible for arming the terrorists who stormed the Capitol with deadly ideas. He is as much responsible for breaking our democracy as Trump has been, if not more.
The only difference is that uncontrolled narcissism drive Trump when uncontrolled greed drives Zuckerberg.
If we hit Facebook in its pockets, it will grow a conscious.
CONGRESS MUST ACT
Congress should take its duties to uphold the Constitution seriously. Every elected official in the legislative branch of our government should back the law to neutralize Zuckerberg by neutralizing his assets.
How? Regulate Facebook online by arming the U.S. Government with tens of thousands of engineers whose job is to monitor Facebook and all social media behavior and the bias of their algorithm. In return for these services, Facebook would have to pay the U.S. Government tens of billions for its audit work. In other words, take the supervision duties of Facebook out of its own hands.
If we hit Facebook in its pockets, it will grow a conscious. Just the power of suggestion of this radical idea might force Zuckerberg to act like normal people do.
