To All the American Jews Who Voted For Trump: It’s Not Too Late

To All the American Jews Who Voted For Trump

Orlando, Florida experienced over the weekend something out of a 1937 German movie. Neo-Nazis showed up with full Nazi gear, flags, and salutes to demonstrate east of Orlando. Rachel Maddow of MSNBC ran a segment on this matter that everyone should watch. Prior to Donald Trump, the United States has not experienced such overt and emboldened Nazi hate openly parading on our streets in the face of everyone who stands by the rule of law and against fascism. For all the American Jews who voted for Donald Trump, and I know personally few of them who are dear to me, I have but one advice to give. It’s not too late.

American Jews can fix the danger of Trump by coming out, in unison, against this sick and dangerous man. They could unite under “Jews Who Regret Voting For Trump” and go public with their wake up call.

Unite under the “Jews Who Regret Voting for Trump” to save our country.

REMEMBER THE COMEBACK OF HITLER?

For his Munich Putsch, which was a failed coup by the Nazi Party, Hitler spent 9 months in jail between 1923 and 1924. Nine years later, he became Germany’s chancellor and the rest is history. A coup, an imprisonment, and a comeback to kill tens of millions of people including the extermination of six millions Jews.

In Trump’s case, we have a coup, the hope he goes to prison, but if not then the possible comeback to lift the white supremacists, the racists, the Nazis to even more prominence, and the Confederates itching to start a new civil war. Is that what we want? Another German scenario here at home?

In my humble opinion, and that of so many other political observers, the American voter is the most ignorant voter in the world, and millions would vote for Trump just because he is a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant. Regardless of the harm he can bring our country. I also know few ignorant people like that who tune to Fox and know nothing about the terrible things Trump has done.

Let me say it again. Unite under the “Jews Who Regret Voting for Trump” to save our country. If there are 5 millions Jews in America and 70% are eligible to vote, then Trump, if he runs again, could lose the 20% who voted for him the first time numbering almost 700,000 less votes for Trump. And although they are mostly concentrated in the Democratically-inclined New York, their votes in Florida would matter a lot.

All I know is that Trump’s ancestors came from a German-speaking country, Trump promotes hate and discord, and has authoritarian tendencies. So did Adolph Hitler.

CAMP AUSCHWITZ AT THE CAPITOL

During his tenure at the White House, Trump supported the alt-right in the State of Israel mostly because of the money promised to his campaign by the late Sheldon Adelson. If elected again, Trump can do little for Israel and Adelson’s money, through his widow, should never be on the table again after the Camp Auschwitz Nazi supporter of Trump showed up at the Capitol on January 6.

After these images on the Capitol, and the boldness of the Nazis in America showing up in Orlando where American Jews live, it’s juvenile for any American Jew to support Trump in the future. It’s like voting for one’s butcher.

Most American Jews see the link between the Orlando Nazi manifestation, Camp Auschwitz T-Shirt on the Capitol, and Trump’s dog whistle for hate to erupt and disrupt the lives of minorities in America. Some, however, remain so dedicated to Trump despite all the signs. Is it cultism, or invincibility? I don’t have an answer for this question.

All I know is that Trump’s ancestors came from a German-speaking country, Trump promotes hate and discord, and has authoritarian tendencies.

So did Adolph Hitler.
